Three alternative colour schemes and keys (Colour).

Pixel-maps of colours individually chosen by the author, produced by the Archimedes computer and Calcomp printer, taken from the legends of various prints.

Several of the techniques which were used to show the various three colour schemes in this work are shown. The triangle was eventually deemed the most successful. It is only really showing a two-and-a-half-dimensional range, as the three quantities must sum to unity, which is perhaps why it works the best.
