Print CLXV

The distribution of childhood cancers in Teeside spacetime, from the east (Colour).

Three slices of all the cases in Teeside are shown as the point of view rotates back in time and towards the east on an equal population spacetime cartogram software by the author and Clares.

Rotating the camera around just the cases in one area shows that whenever a cluster is imagined to exist, it disappears as the angle is altered. Each of these pictures took several hours to render. Unfortunately the light source was set in the west, and so we begin to lose the colours of the sphere as the shadows grow.

Fifth print from a series of six.
