Visualizing Fourier transforms - the art in the science (Colour).

The images show the distribution of patterns of differing frequencies on the complex plane. These are frames from an animation by public domain software on an Archimedes computer.

These patterns show how science and art is seen to merge in visualization. This is understandable as their objectives become not too dissimilar. Different people should see different patterns in the same pictures - there is so much to show and so little that is absolute.
